CURRICULUM

Core Knowledge, A Beka, Second Step curriculums and other supplementary materials are used in our primary classes and in-house developed curriculum is used in our enrichment classes. All curriculum is designed to stimulate intellectual growth, social & emotional skills, and character development. It is structured around themes, concepts, and skills that are introduced to students in a logical progression. Activities which offer children opportunities to interact with materials, peers, and adults in individual and group experiences are provided. These activities are designed to meet the children’s spiritual, social/emotional, intellectual, and physical needs. These activities challenge, but not discourage, children. Monitoring the growth and development of the children enrolled is of primary importance in planning what will be taught and how it will be accomplished.
